- Dec 30, 2022 : PPF will yield an annual return of 7.1% for March quarter.
PPF Interest Rate History FAQs
PPF interest rate is calculated on a monthly basis but deposited at the end of the financial year.
Interest is calculated between the 5th and last day of a month. Therefore it is always advisable to invest in PPF on or before 5th day of every month to get maximum returns.
An individual can not have more than 1 PPF account as per PPF rules.
PPF offers up to Rs 1.5 lakh deduction on investment made in each financial year under section 80C of the Income-tax Act, 1961.
No. Partial withdrawals from PPF can be made from the 6th financial year.
