Republic Day (26th Jan), Independence Day (15th Aug) and Gandhi Jayanti (2nd Oct) are the national holidays applied in all states and union territories of India.
In addition to the 14 compulsory holidays Central Government Employees Welfare Coordination Committee in the respective state capitals decides the final list of holiday in their respective states.
